Michelle is originally from St. Louis, Missouri and holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and minors in dance and Economics from Truman State University.  While there, she also studied voice abroad at the prestigious American College of Greece and attended a vocal intensive at The University of Siena in Siena, Italy.  She was active in several competitive dance and choral organizations and studied privately with Dr. Jacqueline Collett.

Upon graduation, Michelle relocated to the Dallas / Ft. Worth area.  She performed in various equity houses around the metroplex as well as Ft. Worth Opera and worked under such directors as Alan Muraoka, Dorothy Danner, David Gately, Darren Lee, Jay Dias, and Michael Serrecchia.  It was here that she became a member of Actors’ Equity Association in 2013.

She then relocated to New York City in 2013 and has had the privilege of working for Musicals Tonight, Hudson Lyric Opera, New Rochelle Opera, the Argyle Theatre, Yorktown Stage, and First Flight Productions, in addition to several SAG projects, regional theatre, and regional opera houses in the area.  She has also participated in several readings of new works at the National Opera Center, under the direction of John Thomas and Gregory Nissan.

Michelle currently works as an actor for medical students at New York Medical College and a freelance Graphic Designer and Marketing Consultant for various companies in the greater NYC area.  She is also the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization, Capes For A Cos, a charity that is dedicated to creating custom, adaptive cosplay for children with physical and developmental disabilities.  She was recently recognized by the Business Council of Westchester as one of their “40 Under 40” in the Rising Stars Program.  This honor is awarded to the top 40 business professionals under age 40, chosen based on professional and entrepreneurial accomplishments, business affiliations, and demonstrated leadership skills.   She is represented by Metropolis Artists Agency in New York, NY and managed by Step Forward Entertainment.
